Description
Firm seeks an associate attorney with seven to ten years of experience, working primarily with startups and emerging growth and later stage companies in connection with formations, financings (including convertible notes, SAFEs and priced Seed Preferred or Series Preferred rounds), venture capital and private equity transactions, federal securities and state blue sky securities compliance, joint ventures, spin-offs, private company mergers and acquisitions and divestitures, employment, consulting and/or equity compensation-related matters. The ideal candidate will have prior experience coming from a venture capital fund, in-house at a well-funded technology startup, or experience at a very reputable law firm with a group focused on emerging growth companies. No portable business required for junior partner candidates.
